We're going to play a fabulous arrangement of Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn tunes for our concert on May 6. Jeff Tyzik, the arranger, played trombone in the Tonight Show Band with Doc Severinsen. I'm sitting here drinking a glass of wine, reflecting upon the absolute wonder of music.

Today, I spent three and a half GREAT hours studying about 30 seconds worth of music in Jennifer Higdon's Blue Cathedral, which the WSO will be performing on May 6. WAYZATA, Minn. - 10-year-old piano prodigy William Yang is playing with the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra.

William takes lessons from one of the greatest pianist in the world, Andre Watts, who just received one of the National Medals of Arts from the White House.

William is playing this Sunday with the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra in Mahtomedi.
